Fleur won her first art prize in 1990 at the Redcliffe Spring Art Exhibition where she received the Peter Houston Encouragement Award for a watercolour and acrylic work, titled "Sandy Ridge".
Fleur is passionate about the mountains around Boonah and her bushwalking in these areas provides the inspiration for many of her artworks.
