A professional photographer by trade, Dany has won national recognition for both his photography work and his oil paintings.
In 1996, one of Dany’s photographs was chosen as the monthly winner and finalist in the national Leica 35mm Gallery photographic competition run by Australia’s "Professional Photo" magazine. More recently, his photograph of the "Strictly Boonah!" street art performance was selected for publication in the "Queensland By Invitation" book launched by Premier, Peter Beattie, on Queensland Day, 2002.
